Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is common in primary care, and timely diagnosis reduces cardiometabolic risk and supports driving safety. CPAP Adelaide offers bulk-billed in-home sleep studies (Level-2 PSG, often referred to as HSAT) with physician-reported results, aligned to current AASM and RACGP guidance.
Triage is straightforward: choose in-home Level-2 PSG for uncomplicated adults with a moderate–high pretest probability of OSA; refer for in-lab PSG when other sleep disorders are suspected or comorbidities add complexity. If an in-home study is negative or non-diagnostic but suspicion remains, proceed to PSG.
Document validated screening scores (e.g., OSA-50/ESS or STOP-Bang/ESS) and key clinical details to support Medicare eligibility and accurate interpretation. This combination helps streamline testing and accelerates treatment decisions.
